22 miles east of Atlanta · 17 acres · ¼ mile tree-lined drive
There's a quarter-mile driveway through the trees before you get here. By the time you arrive, something in you has already started to let go.
Most people come for a weekend. A lot of them stay longer. There's something about this place — the way the trees come up close to the house, the way the mornings feel unhurried — that makes it hard to leave on schedule.
Families arrive a little frayed and leave closer than they've been in years. Couples remember why they liked each other. People who haven't slept well in months sleep well here. We don't entirely know why. We just know it happens.
